Blood in the Sand is an ongoing project rooted in the constant conflict existing in the American south. The struggle between the cultures of old and new, between the innate natural beauty and industry both functioning and not, and the larger, constant battle between man and the world around us that spills out into southern cites, farms, and everything in between. It spans multiple states; most notably North Carolina, and a variety of various locales within these regions. It serves as a comprehensive documentary of Southern history, culture, and beauty in the present day supported the echoes of the past and hopes to have some small part in preserving it for those in the future who may be interested in this infamous region.
