Connor Poore is a humanist photographer dedicated towards producing work as challenging as it is poetic in a manner that is truly one of a kind. While his work spans a wide variety of styles, his passion for deeply personal and introspective storytelling ultimately drives him, represented in long-term projects such as Croatoan and Styx.
The photos that appear in these projects, as well as many others, are largely geographic, taking place close to a home in North Carolina and the surrounding areas of the American Southeast. As a whole, they are representative of a photographer who is as dedicated to history and heritage as they are to artistry and intention, providing a unique glimpse into the landscapes and people that once were and once will be.
